Downtown | Centro Urba |

Downtown

I was downtown the other day, Bur Dubai and Deira. And I came to a conclusion which I will stick to in the almost near future. Those areas lack UAE citizens, namely those who have roots in those areas. I mean the majority of my roots are around central Deira, which by the way used to be considered a town. And hopefully, in the future, you might be seeing a lot more Dubai natives living in those areas.

Centro Urba

Espereble, future, vi eble vidus plej da Dobajanoj loĝantaj tien.

Hmmm I share your concern but I do not see your point!

Why should an area lacking in original Dubaians need to "fill up"? I think a cosmopolitan dubai is a beautiful dubai, BUT there should be a limit and there should be guidelines..

The situation is not correct and there is no equilibrium.. so perhaps i agree with you in terms of content but not execution :)

so, in 50 yrs we'll hear of emirati settlements in deira? lol or illegal outposts...

what do you suggest in execution? I'm simply suggesting that people (the older generation might agree with this) to go back to the various neighborhoods they've grown up in. Turns out that it isn't my opinion only that we should just move back, got a couple of other peoples I realized wanted the same.

hey dude

is that portuguese?

question for you..

do you see the native population of dubai becoming more non arab over time.. until one day the emirate will be hard pressed to call itself arab? and if yes how do you feel about that?

Saluton!

Dubai left a long time ago. what you have now should be renamed.
Stop wishing for the past, or else you will end up like me - d(ubai)eranged.
